Course Description

This course which will cover a variety of specialist drawing, painting and printmaking tech-niques and materials for capturing the characteristics of different tree species and woodland habitats including structure, colour, light and texture. Through a local woodland visit, demonstrations and practical time in the studio, students will develop their observational, recording and artistic skills whilst gaining experience of a variety of approaches and media which are transferable to a range of subject matter.
