Course Description

A basic skills module using clay techniques. We will cover the basics of coiling, slab building, pinch pots and surface texture. The module will be taught over a series of sessions that will cover test tiles and surfaces and give the student the opportunity to deconstruct a piece from antiquity and demonstrate through new-found knowledge how this piece was made. The theme will be exotic birds.
