Course Description

Studies suggest that small acts of creativity in everyday life increase our overall sense of well-being. From the Greater Good Campaign - March 2017.

Art can be a powerful thing when it comes to well-being. It can reduce anxiety and impart a feeling of calm and a sense of achievement. Just putting aside a little time to yourself without the distractions of everyday busy lives and worries can help with overall well-being.

This module covers basic skills to revel in colour but also looks at skills to embed within your daily routine. The choice of materials for this online course, has been designed to be affordable and easily accessible in most homes. We will use felt pens, coloured pencils, basic paints and collage. All activities are backed up with tutor recorded demonstrations and additional optional activities. The assessment seeks to allow you to find an avenue and time in your week to be mindful and enjoy the experience of being creative.
