Course Description

This module aims to provide a strong foundation in numbers and number operations, percentages, sets and probability, algebra (including linear, quadratic and simultaneous equations), coordinates and functions. The course is delivered via a series of online pre-recorded lectures and optional live workshops allowing students to learn through practice. Completing this module (along with Introduction to Mathematics 2) offers students an opportunity to develop the mathematical skills at the level required for entry to the PGCE course at Aberystwyth University.
