Course Description

Through a series of online lectures, guided reading and quizzes, students will explore:
- The gastrointestinal microbiology of livestock
- The key functions of the gut microbiota in relation to livestock nutrition
- Methods both to manipulate GI function to affect product quality, and to reduce GHG emissions

Those wishing to be assessed will submit a 1500 word report (pass-mark 50%).
