As usual there will be six plenary papers and this year’s speakers will be Dr Alex Brown and Dr Grace Owen, Dr Anna Molnar, Professor Larry Poos, Professor Richard Smith, Dr Abigail Sargent, and Professor Tanja Skambraks. The Saturday afternoon symposium will be chaired by Professor Maryanne Kowaleski and will be on the subject of current work and new directions in medieval economic and social history; the panellists will be Professor Adrian Bell, Dr Jordan Claridge, Professor Christopher Dyer, Dr Louisa Foroughi, Dr Spike Gibbs, and Professor Alex Sapoznik. Our Sunday afternoon trip will be a walking tour of Winchester led by Dr John Hare.
