Course Description

This module is complementary to the Fibre to Form module. It will focus upon sourcing and using locally found materials (foraged and made), developing weaving styles, and creating a sustainable arts practice by using plant-based and recycled materials. Skills learnt in the Fibre to Form module will be developed over the weeks, but this unit is also suitable for someone starting their first foray into weaving and using found materials.
