This course is aimed at students who have attended Chinese Improvers 2 or similar or have a general knowledge of Chinese and can exchange information on familiar and routine matters. The course will enable you to further practise and consolidate your language skills and give you confidence in speaking Chinese.

This course is aimed at students who have attended Chinese Improvers 2 or similar or have a general knowledge of Chinese and can exchange information on familiar and routine matters. The course will enable you to further practise and consolidate your language skills and give you confidence in speaking Chinese.

The module will continue to encourage their curiosity about the Chinese language, the country, the people, their environment, society, traditions and culture. It will enable the student to reach a level of adequate competence in the four main areas of listening, speaking, reading and writing.

The student will acquire basic language skills, to enable students to:

• Discuss the economy and subjects in this area
• Discuss education
• Discuss directions and locations in detail
• Discuss the environment
• Discuss food and eating habits
