Field survey is a core skill for anyone pursuing a career in the environmental sector. This course introduces students to a range of commonly used techniques in field ecology and nature conservation, providing both theoretical knowledge and practical experience. 
 
Students will gain a solid grounding in survey methods essential for baseline studies, site assessments, habitat planning, and long-term monitoring. Designed for flexible, remote learning, the course allows students to progress at their own pace. Guided by the course tutor, students will apply key techniques in their local area and submit their completed project work online.
