This course is aimed at students who have attended Spanish Improvers 2 or similar or have a general knowledge of Spanish and can communicate in routine tasks requiring a direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. The course will enable you to further practise and consolidate your language skills and give you confidence in speaking Spanish. 

Course Description

This course is aimed at students who have attended Spanish Improvers 2 or similar or have a general knowledge of Spanish and can communicate in routine tasks requiring a direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. The course will enable you to further practise and consolidate your language skills and give you confidence in speaking Spanish. 

The module will equip students with a very basic knowledge of the countries where Spanish is spoken and encourage their curiosity about the language, the country, the people, their environment, society, traditions and culture. It will enable the student to reach a level of very basic competence in the four main areas of listening, speaking, reading and writing.

The student will acquire basic language skills, to enable students to:

• Discuss the weather
• Describe recipes
• Make telephone calls
• Talk about the future in detail
• Describe events
• Discuss holidays
• Get and give advice
